Innsbruck Airport
Driving Directions
From the east (including the centre of Innsbruck), follow the A12, take the exit marked Innsbruck West/Flughafen and follow the road to the airport. From the south, follow the A13 north to Innsbruck and then drive west on the A12, take the exit marked Innsbruck West/Flughafen and follow the road to the airport. From the west, drive east on the A12 and take the exit marked Vols Kranebitten/Flughafen. Follow the road to the airport.
Car Parking
The airport has 350 outdoor parking spaces and 750 parking spaces in the multi-storey parking house opposite the terminal building. Parking is free for the first 30 minutes.

Car hire companies represented at the airport include Avis, Budget, Denzeldrive, Europcar, Hertz and Sixt.
Public Transport
Road: Bus: Local transport company IVB (tel: (512) 5307 500) operates buses that run every 15 minutes from morning to evening between the airport and the main station in Innsbruck. The journey takes 10 minutes. The bus stop at the airport is located immediately in front of the terminal building.
Taxi: Taxi ranks are located in front of the airport terminal building. Taxi Innsbruck (tel: (512) 5311) and Four Season Travel Airport Taxi (tel: (512) 584 157) both serve the airport. Transfer from the airport is also provided by Transferbus (tel: (820) 600 802) and Joyntshuttle (tel: (512) 343 533).

Driving Directions
The airport has its own motorway connection on the junction of the A1 and A10 to the west of the city centre. Coming from the west, travellers should take the Salzburg West A1 exit and then take the airport exit shortly thereafter. Arriving from the south, it is best to follow the A10, turn onto the A1 and then choose the airport exit. From the north, head south west on the A1 and take the airport exit. From the city centre, head west on the B1 (Innsbrucker Bundesstrasse) until reaching the airport.
Car Parking
There are 2,300 parking spaces for cars and buses near the airport building. Of these, 1,920 are in a multistorey parking house. A short covered walkway leads from there to the terminal building. Every parking space is within 5 minutes’ walk from the terminal. There is both short-term and long-term parking at the airport.
Car Hire
The car hire companies at the airport have their offices on the ground floor of the multistorey car park. Companies represented include Avis, Budget, Denzeldrive, Europcar, Hertz, and Sixt.
Public Transport
Road: Bus: Salzburger Stadtwerke (tel: (0662) 440 6262) operates bus 2, which runs at regular intervals (every 10 minutes) between Salzburg main railway station and Salzburg Airport. Sundays and public holidays it runs every 30 minutes (journey time - 20-25 minutes).
Taxi: A taxi stand can be found both directly in front of Salzburg’s main railway station and the airport terminal. Operators include Salzburger Funktaxivereinigung (tel: (0662) 8111), Taxi 2220 Salzburg (tel: (0662) 2220), Taxi-Salzburg Info (tel: (0650) 556 4912) and Taxi Hager (tel: (0664) 356 5623).
Vienna International Airport
Driving Directions
The best route to the airport is the A4 Airport Motorway. The motorway exit marked ‘Flughafen’ (Airport) leads directly to the terminal. The B9 road is an alternative main route.
Car Parking
There are several car parks at the airport. K1, K2 and K3 are short-term car parks; and discount long-term parking is available in lot C. More information is available (tel: (0)1 7007 22886).

Public Transport
Rail: The City Airport Train (tel: (0)1 25250; website: www.cityairporttrain.at) runs to the City Air Terminal at Wien Mitte. The S-Bahn (overground train) connects the airport to Wien Mitte and Wien Nord railway stations (journey time: 25 minutes); it provides connections to the Vienna U-Bahn (underground rail) system.
